The benefits of an LMS really do include saving money

In fact, after working in partnership with Dynamic for many years, they were the first NHS trust to begin using the Dynamic LMS platform.
So, how has the Trust benefited from using the Dynamic LMS platform over and above other learning management systems?
The Trust can now deliver over 350 courses using this low-cost LMS from Dynamic. The subjects that the courses cover are many and diverse, from anaesthetics to critical care, from food safety to finance.
A cost-effective LMS
A cost-effective LMS with extra functionality as standard.
But it’s not just the incredibly extensive digital training that has made this LMS platform so successful; it’s the Trust’s use of all the other functions, such as employee recognition, appraisals, 360° feedback and medical devices that ship with Dynamic’s system that make it probably the best value learning management system on the market. Let’s take a closer look.
Employee recognition
Staff appraisals
Managing staff appraisals can be a laborious, time-consuming task. The Trust manages all their staff appraisals smoothly and easily through Dynamic LMS, from probationary appraisals for new staff, all the way to senior manager appraisals. A manager undertaking an appraisal for a staff member can also check to see the recognition that has been left for that staff member. The Trust can easily monitor what appraisals have taken place and also extrapolate key indicators relating to staff potential and advancement.
Medical devices
Hospitals use thousands of different medical devices and keeping on top of the compliance for them all can be daunting. Dynamic worked directly with Trust experts to develop a comprehensive medical devices management system. As an essential system used for internal and external audit purposes, this ensures that the Trust can evidence its compliance in terms of which staff are trained to use which medical device within different parts of the hospital.
360° feedback
More recently, Dynamic has worked in partnership with employee development experts from the Trust to create a 360° feedback system inside the LMS platform. This allows the creation of detailed full-circle feedback forms that can be completed by staff, or they can invite external colleagues to provide feedback to them. A detailed 360° summary feedback report is then automatically created for the staff member which can be discussed with a facilitator.
With over 8,000 staff, if the Trust purchased separate systems for employee recognition, appraisals, 360° feedback and medical devices, then this would have cost the Trust tens of thousands of pounds per year. However, because Dynamic LMS ships with all of this functionality as standard, the Trust has been able to get so much more from Dynamic than just an LMS!
"Dynamic has worked alongside us since the start of our journey to help us develop our online learning, engagement and development offer considerably. The team at Dynamic look to see how they can add value with system development requests; they really work in partnership to understand what we are looking to achieve in respect of any specific developments we have in mind and they will always do what they can to help deliver on our vision."
FEATURED CASE STUDY
A national healthcare programme of study
Dynamic has been providing the NHS and private health and care providers with training interventions for over 20 years. For this project, Dynamic collaborated with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, NHS England and Improvement (NHSEI) North West to create a unique programme of study for Infection Prevention Professionals.
“Working with Dynamic has been a wonderful experience.”
